Siegmund System 28 Welding Tables Canada | BTH Sales
System 28 is Siegmund’s heavier-duty welding table platform. It uses Ø28 mm boreholes on a 100 × 100 mm surface grid and is built for shops that need more clamping force, thicker material and larger weldments than System 16.
BTH Sales supplies Siegmund System 28 tables in Canada, including Professional Extreme 8.7 and Professional Extreme 8.8 Plus plasma-nitrided models. Tables are manufactured in Germany. Side panels can also be used for fixturing, and System 28 tooling can be added as the work grows.
Which System 28 table?
- 1200 × 800 mm and 1500 × 1000 mm — compact System 28 footprints for smaller shops that still want Ø28 mm tooling.
- 2000 × 1000 mm and 2400 × 1200 mm — the common production sizes. 2400 × 1200 mm is roughly a 4 × 8 ft working surface.
- 2000 × 2000 mm, 3000 × 1500 mm and larger — high-capacity tables for large fabrications and multi-operator setups.
8.7 vs 8.8 Plus: both are plasma-nitrided System 28 tables. 8.8 Plus is the thicker, higher-capacity series with a 300 mm side height. 8.7 uses a 200 mm side. Choose based on load, workpiece size and how much side-wall fixturing you need.
