Kifix Toggle Clamps

Kifix toggle clamps are industrial hold-down and latch clamps for fixtures, jigs and repetitive workholding. BTH Sales is the exclusive Canadian importer of Kifix and sells the Kifix line — vertical, horizontal and pull-action latch models — with prices in CAD from our warehouse at 5 Industrial Rd, St. Marys, ON N4X 1G2.

Vertical hold-down clamps

Vertical clamps lock with the handle upright and leave clear space above the workpiece when open. Use them for general fixturing on jigs and assembly setups. Holding force, spindle thread and base style are listed on each product page.

Horizontal hold-down clamps

Horizontal clamps lock with the handle low, which helps when overhead clearance is limited. Choose them for tight fixtures and low-profile workholding.

Pull-action latch clamps

Latch clamps pull and lock lids, covers, doors, hatches and fixture halves closed. Plunger travel and hook thread are on each latch product page.

Choosing by job

For light jigs, start with smaller vertical or horizontal models. For heavy fixtures, pick a higher holding-force clamp. For lids and closures, use a pull-action latch. Check each PDP for holding force (kgf/lbf), spindle or hook thread, and base style before you order.

Mounting

Flanged and bent bases bolt or weld to flat, drilled surfaces. See each product's Fits note, and the KF-017 DB and KF-211 DB pages for welding-table mounting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a toggle clamp?

A toggle clamp uses a linkage that locks past dead center so one lever motion holds the part until you release it. That makes it useful for repeat fixturing and assembly where you want the same hold every cycle.

What is the difference between vertical and horizontal toggle clamps?

Vertical clamps lock with the handle upright and leave clear space above the workpiece when open. Horizontal clamps lock with the handle low, which helps when overhead clearance is limited.

When should I use a pull-action latch clamp?

Use a latch clamp to pull and lock lids, covers, doors, hatches or fixture halves closed. Holding force and hook travel are on each product page.

How do I mount a Kifix toggle clamp?

Most models use a flanged or bent base that bolts or welds to a flat, drilled surface. Hole sizes and patterns are on each product page. For perforated welding tables, only selected SKUs have approved adapters — see those product pages, or ask us before you order.
