Siegmund Anti-Spatter is a non-flammable, water-soluble agent that stops weld spatter from burning into the table. Siegmund says it gives off no toxic or harmful vapours or corrosive particles and can also be used on the workpiece. BTH Sales is the exclusive Canadian importer of Siegmund.

Which materials can I use Anti-Spatter on?
Siegmund says it can be used on welding elements such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized parts, as well as on the welding table itself.
Do I need to clean parts before painting?
Yes. Siegmund says any dried residue has to be removed with a suitable cleaner before varnishing. It recommends water, water-based, acidic or neutral cleaners, for example 2% Anti-Spatter in water, and not degreasers or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
How should I apply it?
Siegmund recommends applying it primarily as a spray, or alternatively with a brush or rag. Siegmund offers a 1 litre spray bottle (000924), a 1 litre pump bottle (000929) and a 5 litre canister (000926).
