Compatible tables from other manufacturers are often made from different materials and to different standards, so quality varies by manufacturer, compared with Siegmund's X8.7 tool steel.

Yes. Siegmund says the swivelling arbor allows clamping at an angle of up to ±42°, and the clamp can also be used straight, combining the advantages of conventional 45° and 90° clamps.
How does the vertical pipe fit into the table bores?
Siegmund uses an adjusting ring (280653.N) to integrate the vertical pipe into the system bores, and lists it in the parts list for this clamp with 280677, 280678.N, 280679, 280634.1.N and 280657.1.N. Spare parts can be ordered individually.
Will it fit other 28 mm welding tables?
