About 3YO
3YO Technology was founded by brothers Mirko and Loris Dalle Nogare. After years in the metalworking industry and a life-changing event in 2011, they set out to eliminate toxic substances and hazardous tools from industrial environments. After 12 years of research across four continents and testing in over 55 countries, they launched 3YO WG, the first of their line of sustainable, high-performance solutions. How 3YO is used on laser tables
3YO describes 3YO TS (Total Shield) as a self-cleaning solution for laser cutting systems, made from a formulation derived from natural ingredients, with no hydrocarbons, and tested on systems up to 150 kW. It is applied with the 3YO Applicator, 3YO's official applicator for TS, to the cutting bed and the recovery area beneath it, so debris doesn't stick, drawers and cutting beds are easier to clean, and critical components stay protected.
In practice, per BTH's product pages:
- Fill the 3YO Applicator with Slat Juice; no mixing is needed.
- Coat the table, which takes under 3 minutes. You can also treat scrap conveyors, trays and slag deflectors.
- Reapply every 18, 9 or 6 days, depending on your shift load and laser power.
