Siegmund says that to use them with System 16, connection elements such as Connecting Bolts (000562), Combination Clamping Bolts (000520) or Reduction Bushings (000546) are required. They also fit other 28 mm system welding tables with Ø28 mm bores. Compatible tables from other manufacturers are often made from different materials and to different standards, so quality varies by manufacturer, compared with Siegmund's X8.7 tool steel.

For DIN flanges, Siegmund lists the Clamping Plate 550 (280220.P) for DIN 2632/2633 DN 15–DN 400 and DIN 2634/2635 DN 50–DN 300, and the Clamping Plate 350 (280221.P) for DIN 2633 DN 15–DN 200. For US-standard ANSI/ASME B16.5 flanges, choose 280250.P for 150 lbs or 280251.P for 300 lbs (both 1/2" to 8"), or 280252.P for 400–600 lbs (1/2" to 6").
