Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose the 2P or the 3P clamping bridge?
Siegmund says the 2P clamps at 2 points simultaneously, while the 3P clamps at 3 points and, thanks to its three-dimensionality, can clamp in three dimensions. Both are 170 x 35 x 20 mm; the 2P is 0.51 kg and the 3P is 0.58 kg.
Does the bridge work on uneven parts?
Yes. Siegmund says clamping on uneven surfaces is possible with pendulum compensation, and the spherical pins can be shifted quickly.
Will it fit other 28 mm welding tables?
Yes, if the table has Ø28 mm bores on a 100 mm grid. Check the bore diameter and grid before ordering. Compatible tables from other manufacturers are often made from different materials and to different standards, so quality varies by manufacturer, compared with Siegmund's X8.7 tool steel.
