What is a fixture table?
A fixture table is a Siegmund modular perforated welding table used for fixturing: a grid of bores in the top and sides lets clamps, stops and squares lock parts in place while you weld. Buyers searching for a fixture table, welding fixture table, welding jig table or fixture table Canada are looking for this kind of modular setup. Siegmund tables ship from our warehouse in St. Marys, Ontario. Compare System 16 and System 28 below, then choose a size that fits your work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need a welding table to weld?
No, you can weld without one, but a welding table gives you a flat, stable and secure surface to work on. A fixture table with a hole grid also lets you clamp and position parts the same way every time, which makes your work more accurate, repeatable and safe.
What size welding table do I need?
Look at the size, thickness and weight of the parts you fixture. A useful rule is to choose a table that fits about 80% of your parts, because Siegmund tables can be joined or extended later. Read our guide: What size welding table do I need?
What is the difference between Siegmund System 16 and System 28?
System 16 uses Ø16 mm bores on a 50×50 mm grid, with table side heights of 100 mm or 150 mm. Siegmund recommends it for fine-detail fabrication such as railings and frames. System 28 uses Ø28 mm bores on a diagonal grid (100×100 mm grid also available; 50 mm on request), with 200 mm sides on Professional Extreme 8.7 and 300 mm sides on 8.8 PLUS. Siegmund recommends System 28 for light to heavy components. Standard static load ratings per leg are 1,000 kg (2,205 lb) for System 16, 2,000 kg (4,409 lb) for System 28, and 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) for System 28 PLUS. Tooling fits all tables within one system; connecting elements are available across systems.
What is a fixture table?
A fixture table is a welding table with a grid of bores in the top and sides. Clamps, stops and squares lock into the bores so you can hold parts in position while you weld — also called a welding fixture table, welding jig table or fixture table. Siegmund modular perforated tables use Ø16 mm bores on a 50 mm grid (System 16) or Ø28 mm bores on a diagonal or 100 mm grid (System 28).
