Do I need the left or the right version?
The two versions differ only in which side the stop is on: 160134.N has the stop on the left and 160136.N on the right. Siegmund lists the same size (195 x 49 x 500 mm, 14 mm material thickness) for both and recommends ordering this square in pairs.
What is the difference between the 500 GK and the 500 G square?
Both are 500 mm high, 195 mm long and 49 mm wide and made from GGG40 ductile cast iron. The 500 GK is 14 mm thick and 5.3 kg, is designed for heavy parts and comes in left and right versions. Siegmund lists the 500 G (160164.N) at 12 mm material thickness and 4.56 kg.
Will it fit other 16 mm welding tables?
Yes, if the table has Ø16 mm bores on a 50 mm grid. Check the bore diameter and grid before ordering. Compatible tables from other manufacturers are often made from different materials and to different standards, so quality varies by manufacturer, compared with Siegmund's X8.7 tool steel.
