Compatible tables from other manufacturers are often made from different materials and to different standards, so quality varies by manufacturer, compared with Siegmund's X8.7 tool steel.
- Siegmund System 16: fits every System 16 Siegmund table, including the Professional Extreme 8.7 and 8.7 PLUS tables listed on bthsales.ca; on a System 28 table it needs Siegmund's Reduction Bushing 16->28 (000545, boreholes only) to clamp with System 28 bolts, or the Adapter Sleeve 16->28 (000547) to locate it without clamping; neither is listed on bthsales.ca (000545 not in its elongated holes).

Do I need the left or the right version?
The two versions differ only in which side the stop is on. Siegmund lists the same size (145 x 49 x 250 mm, 14 mm material thickness) and weight (2.16 kg) for both and recommends them as a pair.
Can the 250 G be used as a table extension?
Yes. Siegmund says this square can be fixed and variably adjusted through its system bores and elongated hole and used versatilely, for example as a table extension. It is made from GGG40 ductile cast iron.
Will it fit other 16 mm welding tables?
